Amast NV supporting with crane service the construction of the new bridge at Spanish Lagoon Balashi.

ORANJESTAD – After months of preparation this Wednesday morning the installation of the modern bridge from the green corridor project has started. The new bridge is part of the four-lane highway which is build between San Nicolas and Oranjestad.

The existing bridge across the Spanish Lagoon will not be demolished but will be part of the linearly park and will be used for recreational purposes.

The first part of the bridge which is now installed weighs about 14 tons and it took several hours before the installation was final. Prime Minister Mike Eman has offered a helping hand in securing the bridge with massive screws. The executive team has a huge challenge ahead of us, but it looks as though the project will be completed as planned.

AMAST NV is responsible for the installation of the new bridge.
